Great guitar.
SIG60 13.06.2026
I thoroughly enjoy playing this guitar. It’s a pleasure to play, and it sounds fantastic. Before I got it, I was already searching for pickups to upgrade it. I was certain the stock pickups weren’t good enough. However, when I played it out of the box, I was genuinely impressed with its sound. The action and intonation required minor adjustments . The guitar is a bit challenging to tune because the bridge is floating, similar to a Floyd Rose, but once tuned, it stays in tune. Well done Hils!

Incredible Value: A Surprisingly High-End Feel from Hils Guitars
Peter 1976 17.04.2026
Since I already own a Kiesel Zeus guitar with a fixed bridge, I was looking for a lightweight guitar with a tremolo bridge.

I came across several videos online with tests and reviews of Hils guitars, and honestly, it almost sounded too good to be true.

So I decided to order this guitar and keep my fingers crossed.

My first impression was: wow, what a bargain. The guitar is very well made, beautiful, and comes with an excellent gig bag.

When I plugged it in, I immediately noticed how easy it was to play. The action is nicely low without being too low, and the neck feels comfortable—somewhat like a wizard neck, but with a bit more substance. The ergonomic shape also makes it very comfortable to sit and play.

Sound-wise, I think it performs really well. It might be slightly on the darker side tonally, but nothing I can’t easily adjust in my setup.

I’m honestly a bit blown away that you can buy a guitar at this price and still get a playing experience that feels closer to something in the Kiesel range.

I think Hils Guitars have truly created a great product.
