This is a great machine, after summer updates it has full functionality, you can finally split signal without cab to amp and whole rig with emulation to in-ears (earlier was not possible). Everything pretty much intuitive and the control app is surprisingly good and easy going.
I would give to it highest rating however there are some cons:
- Footswitches on the unit is not rock solid, they are sort of fragile so I would not advise to push on 'em hard by feet, the best option is to use external midi footswitch, which I do.
- Also I did not like the fact that you need to buy power supply separately. I understand that usually pedals are not supplied with it but not for this one. First of all, nanocortex is very 'famous' for its non-compatibility with different power supplies (hum/noises, etc.), so in either way it is better to use different power supply for cortex. However for this price modeler I think it must be sold together, it is not apple company. So the fact that you buy additionally power supply from Neural is something.
Anyways, these are small remarks. I advise to get it anyway, I think it is best on market now.
P.S. I use it also with Seymour Duncan PowerStage 200 amp and it works only with ground lift on function on cortex, it is great they added this button there. It is also probably the electricity problems everywhere, but it is what it is.
