I paired it with a Sennheiser In Ear monitors, which isolates sound very well. It is fantastic. You can have very silent and very detailed monitoring with these. Shure it is passive, you don't have that much power to be really loud. But who wants it loud? When it is not enough, than probably your InEars are not proper or you should quit your band, cause otherwise you will get deaf soon. Anyway, great quality, mono/stereo compatibility, no noise, no batteries, just great. EDIT: I was only able to feed it with analogue mixer Aux output. Mackie Onyx 1640i, Soundcraft Spirit M8, every good old mixer can feed it enough, but now I have Allen Heath CQ12-T and you are not able to feed it from Aux output - weird. Similar experience with professional Yamaha CL1 - signal close to zero, not usable. I don't understand why digital consoles have so week output signal. And yes, even if you crank gain close to digital zero, you still don't have enough power through those outputs... Sad :(
