I'm extremely happy with this little trumpet. It comes in a tidy, compact case and the full sized bell leaves it with a great open, free blowing sound. The tuning is probably not the best if trying to play with others, but my intention is to use it for personal practice when travelling, so I'm not at all phased by that. An excellent instrument for the price.

Ich bin schon von mehreren Instrumenten der Thomann Eigenmarke positiv überrascht worden und die Blacky Pocket bildet hier keine Ausnahme. Die Verarbeitung ist nicht bei 100% aber man bekommt weitaus teuerere, schlechter verarbeitete Instrumente.
Ich suchte eine Taschentrompete für Spaßgigs sowie fürs Auto (Nein ich spiele natürlich nicht während der Fahrt).
Der Klang ist, typisch für eine Taschentrompete, näher am Ohr und somit lauter und weniger räumlich. Der große Schall sorgt für mehr Kern, sodass der Sound für den Spieler sehr sonor und warm ist.
Der Zuhörer empfindet den Klang ebenso als gut, jedoch eher auf der helleren Seite, was mich überrascht hat. Dies ist jedoch wieder typisch für Taschentrompeten.
Die Ventile laufen sehr smooth und auch nach nun schon mehreren Wochen im Auto - ohne nachzuölen - laufen sie immer noch beanstandungsfrei.
Optisch ist das Teil natürlich ein richtiger Hingucker, für den der es mag. Auch der Koffer wirkt wertig und edel.
Ob nun als Gag oder aus Platzgründen - es ist eine Pocket, aber trotzdem ein ernstzunehmendes, gutes Instrument. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Alright at this price point

I bought this really just for the fun of having a cute little trumpet. There are not many review yet for this recent product, I just thought of giving it a try. Visually it's a beautiful instrument. The sound is quite bright and big for such a tiny thing. Intonation is ok only on the middle register but lower and higher registers are really all over the place. The 3 valve's tuning slide is completely useless, not possible to adjust while playing. Again, at this price, you get what you paid for. It's perfectly ok for beginner especially for small kids who look for lighter instrument.

Compre esta trompeta para practicar cuando viajo. La verdad es que no me ha decepcionado. Funciona muy bien. No la usaria como primera trompeta ya que no es tan comoda cuando se toca por un largo tiempo pero como segunda trompeta, sobretodo para viajar es perfecta y muy elegante :)
