For a lightweight snare stand, look no further

I bought this and the matching cymbal stands as I am now not so young and want my stand case to be lighter when I am carrying it around. I thought these may be ok, given the price, and didn't want to spend twice as much for a gibraltor or similar if they were not to be any good. I must say I am impressed with this. As soon as I set it up I was impressed with how stable it is, and it is lighter which is what I wanted. I thought it may not work with my really heavy Pearl Reference snare, but it holds it just fine. I now have no use for my old double braced stands, unless I'm doing a heavy rock gig or some other person is carting my stuff around.

In brief, these are great for the price. if you need someting lighter, or if you need spare stands for rehearsals etc. these are great. The reason for only 4 stars is that they obviously do not stand up next to my top of the range double braced stuff, but that would set you back more than twice the money. Maybe they will wear out quicker if set up and down every night, but at this price, who cares?

Nice basic snare stand

Nice and lightweight snare drum.As a new drummer want something light and sturdy for gigs.
Decent quality at a decent price.
Looks good in my Tama Superstar Classic!

Ich wollte als Ergänzung zu der restlichen fußnahen Hardware unbedingt einen flat stand haben, da mich das ewige in die Quere Kommen von Snare- und Hihat-Ständer genervt hat. Das klappt auch gut. Ein Problem ist, dass der Ständer ziemlich hoch ist und meine 6,5er Snare noch darauf soll. Selbst bei meinen 188cm ist das ganz schön hoch, so dass ich eher die Sitzhöhe an die Snare als die Snarehöhe an den Sitz anpassen muss.
