Great for practice

Well, these are not bad strings. Ofcourse im using better quality for gigs but these are just great for practice and rehearsals. Nothing is wrong with quality. As matter of fact, its hard to belive that they are this cheap. Unbelievable, really.

Decent but not serious

The tone is good, feels good on fingers, does not break and lasts quite a bit. However not each of package is tonaly stable. Had some high tuning instability with some of the packs.

Have you ever seen cheaper stuns? Personally, I don’t. These strings are more than enough to play and learn.

Not Bigsby friendly!

I have been using HB strings for many years now and never had any complaints. Very nice strings and unbeatable for the price. I did have some defective sets (missing one string or having a duplicate string gauge and missing another) but generally I mainly used these for many years now.

One of the last batch I got, though, had smaller barrels. And thus, smaller hole size and it did not fit to a Bigsby tremolo studs. I could not install the set due to this. Very disappointed by this and having ordered a batch of sets I now have a batch of worthless sets as my guitars are mostly Bigsby.

Thomann should mention this on the page - or better yet go back to the correct barrel size.
