Ich habe eine Gibson Les Paul Standard 2008 - auch aus dem Jahre 2008 - welche einen "Chambered Body" hat. Des Weiteren hatte der Vorbesitzer das Tailpiece und die Bridge gegen Aluteile ausgetauscht.
Durch das chambering und die Aluteile hatte die Gitarre einen sehr hellen Klang. Stellenweise empfand ich den Klang (meine Subjektive Meinung) als "metallisch".
Aus diesen Gründen habe ich im ersten Schritt das Tailpiece gegen das ABM3020 ausgetauscht. Meiner Meinung nach, wurde der Ton etwas "erdiger". Die hellen Töne wurden etwas dunkler aber nicht matschiger. Die Töne waren weiterhin klar aber die hellen Spitzen wurden gedämpft. Eine eindeutige Verbesserung des Klangverhalten der Gitarre.
Anschließend habe ich die Bridge gegen die ABM2504 ausgetauscht und ich habe mit leichten Nuancen gerechnet - aber die die Kombination ist klasse! Die Gitarre hat ein ordentliches Sustain erfahren, das Tonverhalten ist schon erdig und die hellen Spitzen sind verschwunden. Das Tonverhalten ist jetzt "warm".
Für mich das Tuning, was meine gute Gitarre erfahren konnte! Kann es nur empfehlen!
