Warum Creme als Name ?

Ich habe die Gelegenheit genutzt bei 30% Rabatt den Creme RC zu bestellen.
Das Gerät kommt in der Tegeler üblichen Holzbox.

Leider war die Umverpackung durch Thomann so schlecht, dass diese von DHL nachverpackt werden musste. Da die Holzkiste in einer weiteren Verpackung solide geschützt wird, war das Gerät funktional in Ordnung.

Nun zum Kompressor / EQ selbst. Die Bedienung ist durch die großen Regler ein Traum. Die Automatisierung ist natürlich perfekt für dynamische Veränderungen.
Was mich nicht überzeugen konnte war der Sound. Der Kompressor arbeitet wie erwartet, aber ohne Charme. Der Bass EQ wummert gerne und der Höhen EQ hebt einfach nur an. Dafür brauche ich kein aufwändiges Röhrengerät.

Da das Gerät vielfach gelobt wird, passt es vielleicht einfach nicht zu meiner Musik.
Daher schicke ich es zurück.

Sounds great and have very useful functions, like shifting the position of the eq (before/after comp) and SC Lowcut. But, for someone who frequently jumps between projects, the recall/software is what makes it (RC version) truly great. Switch project, bam, all settings loaded from the get go. Massive time saver. And you can record automation all through the track. I am very pleased with this unit and can not understand why there are so few hardware units available with this type of digital control. 10/10.
