Like a previous reviewer stated, it's one of those things you don't know you need until you get it.
I really love how much it streamlines setting up and tearing down for recording sessions in the studio.
The build quality is great, all metal with rubber shock absorber.
I've entrusted it with both condensers and my SM7b without ever feeling worried that the mic will come to harm.

I've compared it to the On-Stage QK-10B and must say this one is superior in every way.

I bought 2 to test out, and just recently bought another 4 - I'm planning on getting enough for all my stands and microphones eventually.
Highly recommended!

It's one of those things everyone needs but nobody knows that because nobody knows such thing even exists. I found this thing in one YouTube video about "gear everyone should have in studio" and it is indeed stuff that everyone really SHOULD have in studio. It also allows to align all your mics to the same angle so that you can just swap in/out your mics without readjusting them every single time.
