Utilizo esta pastilla en una guitarra Ibanez ART 800, de serie venían unas EMGs y el rollo activo nunca ha sido lo mío. Desde que las cambié la guitarra es otra, le puse un selector para poder dividir las bobinas y también da mucho juego en simple. Toco desde jazz hasta metal progresivo pasando por el funk y el blues. Funciona bien con poca saturación y en limpio pero donde más rendimiento dan obviamente es con hi gain.

Nice sound , nice performance

The DiMazio Evo 2 Bridge is an excellent pick up for any electric guitar , I use it in a Jackson Dinky and I am very satisfied with the result ! ! !
As the music gen : I can say that I play rock, latin rock , pop , ska , Latino , cumbia , etc . And the versatility of this pick up ( with the little help of an effect of course ) let me performance in almost ANY KIND of music .
Really nice for clean sound and GREAT for over drive , this pick up I can recommend it to everybody .
Also I tried it directly to an amplifier ( Marshall ) and it was a good sound using just the amplifier effects , so . . . if you want to have a nice sound for ANY electric guitar , maybe this is the pick up that you need .
I did not try it for hard music ( as heavy metal or trash metal ) , but from my expirience with this pick up I can say that if you use the corect effect and know how to set it , you will make a good job with this DiMarzio .

Sounds great, but there's a catch

This pickup was chosen for heavier classic rock sounds and it delivers. Bright, but not harsh, with good sustain and harmonics. It is high output and needs an amp with lots of headroom for a completely clean sound. On the edge of breakup it sounds lovely, though. On higher gain settings I noticed unusually good dynamics for a high output pickup. The Evo 2 responds well to the whole range of volume and tone controls on the guitar. Overall, very satisfied with this choice. However, there's a catch - Evo 2 is taller than other humbuckers. Installation into an Ibanez RG1570 (with direct mounted pickups) was tricky. If you have a direct-mount guitar you may or may not have to route a few mm from the bottom of the pickup cavity.

Fantastic Pickups

This is a brilliant bridge pickup. Spilt sound is very authentic, and the character of the tone is very modern. I have it installed into my GOC Materia Standard 6, and it absolutely slaps!
