Works but short and unbalanced

Pay close attention to the internal length, as many standard scale length dulcimers will be too long for this case. Fortunately the one I want to carry around is shorter than usual and fits nicely. The handle is in an odd place, and the case doesn’t feel very well balanced when carrying. Other than that, well built and functional.

Bought this bag which incidentally fits the Thomann Dulcimer De Luxe like a glove.
Very pleased with the amount of padding all round this bag which offers excellent all round protection which I can guarantee!!!!!!!
This is confirmed as I dropped the bag with the dulcimer inside due to my daft dog charging into me. It dropped from my hand height onto a tiled floor!!!!.
I was expecting the worst when in fact everything was totally fine after a very thorough inspection.
Also there is a nice zipped pocket on the top of the bag which is great for spare strings and clip on tuner and this bears the Thomann logo.
There is a carry handle and an adjustable shoulder strap.
A very nice practical safe way of storing and transporting your dulcimer at a superb Thomann price!!!
