I purchased this for an 8 year old who has been playing it now for some months. It's a great beginner's violin. It's not perfect - hence three stars for sound and quality, but in both cases the sound and quality are easily good enough for a child beginner, and in terms of cost / value, I don't really see how you could get any better.

Everything is good. The violin is made well. The strings are not the best quality, but again - good for the price and easily upgraded if needed. The bow is fine - tensions well and well made. After a week or two (new strings) it settles down nicely and keeps tune well. Now it tunes exclusively from the bridge if needed - so only tiny adjustments needed and this is probably from temperature more than the violin itself.

The teacher is pleased with it - she uses a 1/1 Stentor in her lessons as her "teaching" Violin. I'd certainly buy another.

A la réception du colis, bonne surprise. La housse est de très bonne qualité, et solide.
Le violon est livré avec son archet et sa colophane. Il est de bonne facture et l'archet également. La qualité de ce produit est rassurante du fait qu'il sera utilisé par des enfants.
Je les ai fait testés par une violoniste pro qui a été surprise par la sonorité agréable au vu du tarif.
Le rapport qualité/prix est par conséquent excellent au vu des bonnes qualités de l'instrument.
Ces violons ont été achetés pour des enfants débutants et ils auront avec ceux-ci un très bon outils pour commencer leur apprentissage.
