These were fitted to a Gretsch Boxcar roundneck. They replaced the rather cheap disapointing Grovers that came on the guitar as a stock fit. I replaced like for like, both were open tuners. Right out of the box i could see the attention to detail. They not only look great, you can see the quality in the workmanship. Prior to even fitting, i have to say that i was very impressed. I had these fitted by a local Luthier, as i wanted fitting done correct. If you handy with a drill, then these should not be too much of a problem to fit. The gearing is 18:1. Without a doubt they stay in tune longer, tune faster, have improved the string feel. They also look better. They really do improve the look of my guitar. Are the right style of tuners for my guitar. A very delighted customer. Arrived very fast as always.

effectivement, la finition est là, ces mécaniques ont belle allure, le chrome apporte vraiment un plus au niveau esthétique. je les ai montées sur une guitare à résonateur tout métal, et le look est super! sur la tête du manche, j'ai conservé les anciennes vis, qui correspondent mieux aux trous (c'est un détail).
pour les cordes, j'utilise un gros tirant (bottleneck oblige) et les mécaniques du coup sont dures à tourner. par contre, après, ça ne bouge quasiment plus! je suppose que c'est normal...on dirait bien que ça améliore le sustain aussi. un peu chères, mais moins que des waverly quand même. on verra avec le temps, elles ont l'air super solides. très satisfait du produit et encore merci à thomann pour la qualité du service.

Der Einbau lief in 10 Minuten problemlos, ich musste nur jeweils ein Schraubenloch pro Tuner neu bohren, das zweite passte. Der Unterschied zwischen 1:14 und 1:18 ist deutlich spürbar, es stimmt sich damit schneller, präziser und eben butterweich ;-)
