rotosound 5 cordes double boules

Ces cordes sont parfaites pour moi dans le sens ou le spectre est bien respecté ( notamment dans les haut medium et aiguës ) le coté métallique est relativement durable ce qui permet de se faire un son assez contemporain pour des styles comme le zouk ou le reggae, le grain y est et la profondeur aussi.
Le seul inconvénient étant le prix, qui est bien sur plus élevé que pour un model similaire de Rotosound avec une boule.

Seit Jahren benutze ich auf allen meinen Bässen Rotosounds. Besonders die 66(5)LD-Serie hat es mir angetan.

Die Saite mag schneller als andere an den ganz strahlenden Brillianzen verlieren, hält aber sehr lang auf sehr gutem Niveau. Klang und Handling sind für mich unerreicht. Durchsetzung in der Band auch sehr gut. Von daher gab es für meinen neuen Steinberger Headless 5-Saiter auch keine andere Wahl. Lediglich die G-Saite riss beim aufziehen.

Wohlgemerkt ist mir dies in all den Jahren nie passiert. Aber Thomann hat gleich unkompliziert für Ersatz gesorgt. Deswegen gibts nur 4 Sterne bei Verarbeitung. Trotzdem würde ich nie eine andere nehmen..

Great sound but too short gauge for "34 scale headless 5

This string set is great soundwise and each string dimension is really great too. However, the overall string gauge for a "34 scale 5 string Steinberger/Spirit these strings are a bit too short if you wind them up on the bridge tuning system. Especially when tuning the low B and E-string the ball end barely gets in under the shield, just like the Steinberger string sets do.
So - do youself a favour and but the Steinberger strings instead. GHS double ball 5 string sets can be useful too.

The price is far too high in my opinion. You can get two sets of good Steinberger strings for the same price of a Rotosound. Rotosound do not make great double ball string sets for "34 scale basses.
