Novelty worth the fun

I bought that pick out of curiosity for playing bass guitar.
It really gives a warm, mellow sound, very similar to finger plucking. That was quite surprising actually! It sometimes sounds sort of muffled and imprecise. Attacks aren't as snappy as with finger pads either. Also, being thick, it may take some practice for precision playing.
Although that stuff sheds into tiny bits, I hope it will retains its shape and performance - been only a few days I've been playing around with it.

Jedina samostalna opcija u dućanu

Veća i deblja od uobičajene trzalice. Bilo bi dobro da ima i veganska alternativa.

Für einen Tag kann mann es benutzen

Mein erstes Leder-Plek und bereits nach einem Tag war ich schon sehr enttäuscht.
Es hat sich in eine Art Schalenform verformt wodurch bei der glatten Oberfläche der Grip total verloren ging.
Anders machte sich diese Verformung auch beim direkten Spielen bemerkbar, da man von stunde zu stunde immer einen anderem Weg von Fingerspitzen zu Plektrumspitze hatte und man nur sehr unpräzise spielen konnte. Das war sehr ungünstig denn so hat man durch die bereits genannte Verformung den saiten manchmal einen ordentlichen Kinnhaken gegeben.
Habe mir danach dann welche von Ortega geholt (nur halb so dick, aber 3-lagig) und mit denen bin ich (für ein sperriges plek) vollkommen zufrieden.

Fazit: Anstatt das Geld in dieses Plek zu stecken kann man sich auch die Zeit nehmen und die Form aus einem alten Autoreifen schneiden (Hat vielleicht sogar noch mehr Grip), oder direkt vernünftige holen.
