It fits perfectly on my Buffet R13 and delivers a deeper sound than its stock barrel. My clarinet could get very flat in winter and very sharp in summer here in Melbourne, Australia. The adjustable range this barrel provides is perfect for our climate. Also, it only minimally offsets note tuning across the range, and when it does, the pitch of the note can be adjusted comfortably with embouchures.
