It has been few years I've been playing NS Design Wav Cello. When I was thinking about my first electric cello, the goal was clear. I wanted to combine two things I enjoyed - playing music and tap dancing. There was only one way to do this - NS Design.
When comparing Shoulder strap system and Boomerhang system, I found the wooden frame more stable and tight while dancing. For my purpose I did the best choice I could.
The Best thing about this strap is that you have the possibility to be absolutely free. Want to walk? Lay back or sit? Run? No problem, just do what feels rigt for you at the moment.
Are there any cons? I use the strap at the very most tightened position. It would be usefull if it was possible to shorten it a little bit more. And sometimes the horizontal fixation of the instrument doesn't hold in its position and rotates a bit. But again, not everyone tap dances while playing a cello I guess... ;)
If you own NS Design cello, you'll definitely use this! I will be looking forward to compare Shoulder and Boomerhang systems once again sometime to see wheather the Shoulder strap is still the better one for me.
