Works well, probably

I bought this to check all my old cables, and also to check all the connections at church where I play. The best part is that it has two parts, so you can really check the signal of the cables running through the whole room.
The setting and manual on the other hand is a little bit clumsy. I had to find out myself what works and what doesnt, I checked mainly XLR / jack connectors. Out of 50 connections I was able to identify one cable that was not working properly, all the others looked fine, according to the tester.
The battery doors are very very difficult to operate, the battery space is really tight, but I found the way (without braking the door). Firstly place the battery, then lay the cable along the edge.
My small piece of advice - if not using it for longer time - take out the batteries..

Good for long runs - poor build

It's great because you can do longer cable runs or even installation tests (you detach the tester, send a signal from one side and it receives it on the other where lights light up) - so it's pretty unique in that regard.

However for short runs its tiny bit impractical, because not all lead lights light up at the same time - it always does a sweep, and build quality is rather poor. It's cheap plastic, and battery holders are cramped and clunky.

Gets the job done tho, and it's a unique tool, so all in all recommended.

Virker? Eller virker det ikke? Specielt hvis man selv har loddet kablerne, kan det være noget af en bét at checke hvert eneste kabel for lodninger, som man ovenikøbet selv er ansvarlig for. Hvad gør man så? Køber naturligvis en Millenium MCT-30! En sand sladderhank, som ovenikøbet afslører hvor mange ledere, der ikke sender signal. Den dækker næsten alle kabeltyper. Kunne dog ønske, at USB-(C) også var en del af dette effektive produkt.
