This is the second china I've put on my kit, I have an 18" on already, This cymbal gives me a second 'china' tone to play around with in those heavy and loud break-downs. Sounds very nice when you play around on the off-beats with it. The china packs a punch, I was worrying that made my kit would drown it out, but I was pleasantly surprised when I could hear it piercing through the other sounds. All-in-all this is a very nice cymbal and at the price is excellent 'Bang-for-your-Buck'

Heb deze Meinl 12" HCS China gekocht om de serie compleet te maken naast de 14" hi-hat, 8" splash, 10" splash en 18" crash eveneens uit de HCS serie. Heb tevens een 16" crash en 22" ride van Zildjan maar de Meinl bekkens doen hier zeker niet voor onder. De China heeft een lekker crispy en fel geluid met een middellange 'nasleep'. Is dan ook prima te gebruiken naast de splash bekkens voor de afwisseling. Door de kortere naklank kan het goed gebruikt worden om accenten te slaan. Het materiaal is zeker stevig en ziet er ook gewoon uit, zoals de rest van de HCS serie. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is zeker goed. Ben er heel tevreden mee en Meinl heeft zichzelf al geruime tijd bewezen als een geduchte concurrent voor Zildjan, Paise en Sabian,
