easier to play a full range and wide dynamics

With the same rim as the #20 and the CG3, it is easy to switch from one Gordon trumpet mouthpiece to another. Like the #20, this mouthpiece makes it easier to play high notes with a good sound and easier to play a range of dynamics or volume. I can only feel very slight increased resistance with the #22 in comparison to the #20. Some players may choose one or the other depending upon their level and the playing situation. I recommend both the #20 bore and the #22. William Schultz

Dieses Mundstück hat einen sehr schmalen Rand mit tiefem Kessel. Es bietet daher ein Maximum an Kontrolle und giebt selbst scharfen Trompeten (z.B. einer hoch Es Trompete) einen "klassischen" Ton. Man braucht aber auch Kraft und Durchhaltevermögen. Für Liebhaber und Tüftler sehr empfohlen; nicht unbedingt für Anfänger.

Das #20 Mundstück ist übrigens eine Spur offener und heller im Ton; das #3 klingt eher scharf, hat aber eine tolle Höhe; auch auf der Piccolo.

PS: Die Marcinkiewicz Claude Gordon Mundstücke haben alle den selben Rand für Flügelhorn, Trompete und Kornett; daher ideal für "Wechsler".

PPS: Nach langer Erfahrung mit diesen Mundstücken würde ich die #20 mehr als die #22 empfehlen: Ersteres geht leichter und lauter los. (Ich habe mittlerweile mein #22 auf die selbe Größe wie das #20er "ausbohren" lassen, was für einen Instrumentenmacher kein Problem ist.)

Der Rand des Mundstücks ist abgerundet und gerade bei längeren Sessionen ermüdungsfrei und angenehm zu spielen; das Teil hat 17,2mm Durchmesser, fühlt sich etwas kleiner aber insgesamt sehr gut an. Hatte vorher ein Y17C gespielt und das "schwamm" immer mal wieder gerne auf der Lippe...das Macinkiewicz gibt deutlich besseren Grip. Der Kessel ist m.E. eine gut gelungene Mischung aus C und V und liefert einen vollen und voluminösen Ton. Spielt sich recht frei und geht auch in der Höhe sehr gut; aufgrund der etwas größeren Bore (3,99mm) in allen Registern voluminöser, guter Sound. LIKE!!
