OK, what can I say about these drums? They arrived in very good condition and well packaged. This set is very well made and finished to a high standard with a great sound. The stand is robust enough to take the weight of the drums and is very stable during playing. My only criticism here, is that the drums are very heavy to lift and require careful handling and certainly could do with lifting handles on the side of the drums to assist with mounting on the stand, something for LP to think about. I love the overall finish of my drums as they match my city bongos perfectly. As for the sound, well, if they are tuned carefully you will obtain the BEST sound from them, drums being no exception when it comes down to tuning. Always de-tune after you have finished playing to preserve the life of the heads, as with all drums. I would say that I am very happy with this product and with the service received from thomann here in the UK.
