Good non invasive solution

Easy to fit the K&K by following the instructions and not rushing! Very happy that I dont have to cut or drill holes in the mandolin. Good sound with my old Gordon Giltrap preamp. Happy to recommend this pickup.

Perhaps this would work better if I had a more expensive mandolin; as it is, the Fishman built-in bridge pickup produces a much nicer sound. I was hoping to merge them in a dual preamp, but this produces too thin a sound with accompanying body noise. Not for me. It's an easy install, but not so easy to uninstall.

Die Beschreibung ist leider falsch, es geht nicht um F-Style oder A-Style, sondern um die f-Schalllöscher. Es gibt F-Style oder A-Style (wie meine Ibanez) Mandoline mit runde Schallloch.

Das Problem ist die Kabellänge: die angegebene 27cm in der Beschreibung sind für das längere Kabel, das kürzere hat etwas 14 cm. Damit ist es unmöglich, von außen, die optimale Stelle (hinter die 2 schräge innere Balken) für die Tonabnehmer zu erreichen.

Da ich zu lange gewartet habe und die 30 Tage (Rückgabe-Garantie) überschritten hatte (selber schuld...), habe ich dann trotzdem den Tonabnehmer eingebaut, es ist dann nicht so schön wie mit einer f-Löscher Mandoline, wegen der Länge muss leider bei mir die Kabelhalterung direkt in der Mitte neben das Schlagbrett kommen, nicht wie vorgesehen im hinteren Bereich der Mandoline (unauffälliger).

Ich musste die 2 Transducer an einer suboptimale Stelle kleben, aber trotzdem bin ich sehr positiv überrascht vom Ton, sehr schön und nicht töpfig wie mit meinem vorherige Schertler basik.

Rückkopplung Widerstand könnte ich leider nicht nicht testen.
