I really liked the case, it holds my instrument perfectly.Although I think the part for the shoulder rest isn't enough.It worked with my Wolf rest but it can be different with other brands.In the end it is a really nice, comfortable, light case for a good price.Thank you Thomann!!

Super Koffer

Für diesen Koffer habe ich mich nach dem Test von min. 10 verschiedenen Modellen entschieden. Er ist sehr leicht, bietet ausreichend Platz, nicht nur für die Bratsche sondern auch für Zubehör. In das kleine Fach im Inneren passen die Brille, Kolofonium und ein Stift bequem hinein. Meine recht große Stütze von bonmusica bringe ich oberhalb der Schnecke unter. Dies war bei den meisten Kästen ein Problem. Die Notentasche bietet auch Platz für Orchesterausgaben.
Die Rucksackgarnitur ist etwas dünn und unbequem. Hier habe ich mir die Riemen von Gewa als Ersatz nachgekauft. Bei den Verschlüssen musste ich am Anfang etwas rumprobieren, da sie nicht zuverlässig geschlossen haben. Das passiert aber nicht, wenn man den Deckel richtig herunterdrückt.
Ein sehr schöner und praktischer Bratschenkoffer. Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Instrument not suspended

The main issue for me is that the instrument is not really suspended. It is hold tightly indeed, but the material around the instrument is some kind of rigid foam, so it does not filter any vibration or shock: everything is transmitted to the instrument and increases the risk of pegs release, or even the sound post move.

Also the box for the accessories is not practical: to get anything from it, like rosin or a tissue, you have to put the instrument somewhere else, which loses the purpose of the case...

The straps for carrying the case are OK but quite thin and the cussions are from some kind of rubber or plastic which is not very nice for the shoulders if you carry it on thin clothes in summer.

Overall, this case is OK but don't expect to carry it around a lot in public transport or on a bike: the instrument is not very well protected from shocks.
