Idoru P-1

Od prvého momentu ma táto mašina zaujala svojou jednoduchosťou, šikovne navrhnutým ovládaním, pevnou masívnou konštrukciou a spoľahlivým fungovaním bez zásekov, mrznutia, či nepredvídateľných reakcií. Odohrali sme s ňou už niekolko koncertov. Nielen že naše trio dopĺňa o sprievodné party a umožňuje nám zahrať aj songy, kde je obsadenie gitara-basa-bicie málo, ale cez MIDI dokáže aj prepínať zvuky a po pripojení MIDI splittera s Bluetooth aj posúvať texty v tablete. Kvalita zvuku je výborná. Chcel by som ešte vyzdvihnúť ukážkový pristup zakaznickej podpory firmy Idoru, ktorá reaguje na požadavky zákazníkov a nielenže opravila drobné chybičky v software, ale na moju prosbu vyvinula aj linuxovú verziu editora, takže už nie sú užívatelia odkázaní len na platformy Win a Mac, je to už skutočne multiplatformný produkt. Pochváliť musím aj ukážkový skvelý zákaznícky servis firmy Thomann, nákup aj dodávka tovaru boli bezproblémové ako vždy.

For years I've been gigging with just an acoustic guitar, which although fun and working well, is not where my heart lies. I grew up on bands, loud music, rock, pop punk, loud electric guitars, etc. and acoustic just didn't quite cut it for me.
I've considered backings before but never really liked the look of someone standing and playing around with their phone/laptop/iPad/etc. to start songs. I've also seen peoples performances fail due to phones having no connectivity, OR getting a call mid song and cutting everything out!
Now, it's all in a simple pedal! Out of view of the audience, looking like an effects pedal for the guitar, not a laptop taking up stage space, or a phone looking like a distraction!

Simple to use in terms up set up, and there's plenty of guidance available for everyone! My live shows have been completely changed with this pedal for the better! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to add more to their live shows!

I ran into several issues immediately after purchasing the Idoru. The first click of the metronome was not audible, the metronome flash did not appear to be properly synced with the song’s metronome clock, and there was a loud buzzing noise at the end of tracks caused by a firmware bug.

I find it difficult to understand how these problems were not identified during testing, especially considering the pedal is already released and being sold commercially. Core functions such as metronome accuracy and clean audio playback should work reliably out of the box.

It should not be the customer’s responsibility to uncover firmware bugs or troubleshoot fundamental functionality. The concept of the product is promising, but my initial experience was rather disappointing.

A ma connaissance, c'est le seul lecteur Midi et audio/6 sorties en 6,35mm au format pédale (déc. 2024).
Utilisation très simple, on ajoute ses titres avec le logiciel gratuit dédié, on défini vers quelle sortie ira la piste click, la piste info, la piste principale (on peut chaîner les sorties pour les avoir en stéréo si on le souhaite), puis on ajoute la piste Midi.
Pour ma part, j'exporte 6 pistes Midi différentes depuis Reaper, chacune ayant son canal propre. Reaper les compacte en une seule piste à plusieurs canaux ce qui permet les Program change et #CC synchronisés à l'audio sur 6 machines (synthés, effets voix, guitare etc.) Pas eu de problème, ça marche très bien.
On paramètre ensuite les morceaux pour qu'ils s’enchaînent automatiquement ou pas.

Boîtier en métal qui a l'air solide, rien à redire là-dessus. En revanche, pas de bouton on/off (à ce prix, sérieux ?) et l'alimentation de 12v parait frêle avec son fil tout fin. Vraiment dommage pour un produit destiné à être posé par terre sur scène.
Un petit bémol aussi pour le format audio imposé 44.1 KhZ, 16bits. Pour du live, c'est suffisant mais ça oblige à ré exporter tous ses morceaux. Et comme les titres des songs sont limités à 32 caractères, il faut aussi les renommer sinon, l'Idoru ne les accepte pas.

Cela mis à part, ça change la vie de pouvoir se passer d'un ordi sur scène et de naviguer d'un morceau à l'autre d'un click de pied.
Avant mon achat, j'ai hésité avec le M-Live B.Beat qui en plus de l'audio/Midi permet la synchro vidéo pour le v-jing mais les retours sur sa fiabilité m'ont fait préférer le Idoru. Je ne regrette pas.
