Best Guitar Ever!

In my 40+ years playing and owning guitars (and I've been through a lot) my new Godin XTSA is without a doubt the best and most versatile guitar I've ever had the pleasure of owning/playing. The workmanship is second to none, the balance is perfect, straight out of the box an absolute delight to play. The Richlite neck is new to me and I was a little concerned ordering the guitar as I had never played on one before but I'm absolutely delighted with it & extremely impressed with how easy it is to play. The tremolo system along with the locking tuners keep the strings perfectly in tune even with the most rigorous use. The pickup system coupled with the Roland GR-55 which I also purchased is a technological dream come true for me. 30 years ago I owned a Boss SE50 effects unit and loved that but now I have reached Technological Nirvana when it comes to the perfection of sound and endless variety of models/effects/instruments/combinations. As far as I'm concerned I've reached the pinnacle of what I need for the rest of my life.
I can't speak highly enough of the Godin XTSA on it own, a beautifully crafted, stunning looking, wonderful guitar to play and especially for the price! 5 stars across the board!

Ich gebe dieser Gitarre immer häufiger den Vorzug vor den anderen. Das Spielgefühl ist aufgrund von Halsform und Saitenlage sehr angenehm, jeder Ton kommt präzise und sauber. Außerdem hält die Gitarre auch bei extremem Tremolo-Einsatz sehr gut die Stimmung. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei - robust und dennoch elegant.

Natürlich war ich zunächst skeptisch, ob sich mit dem RMC Transducer ein sound erzeugen lässt, der dem einer Akkustikgitarre nahe kommt. Aber mit der entsprechenden Einstellung von Verstärker und dem eingebauten 3-Weg EQ Preamp lässt sich das tatsächlich bewerkstelligen. Damit kann man einen Wechsel von der E- zu einer Akkustikgitarre bei vielen Stücken vermeiden. Überaus durchdacht ist eine Schaltung, mittels derer sich die Signale des Akkustik- und der E-Gitarrentonabnehmer mischen lassen. Der Midi-Anschluss für die Verbindung mit einem Gitarensynthi macht die Gitarre zu einem nahezu kompletten Instrument, dessen sound kaum noch variabler sein könnte.

Saubere Verarbeitung der Gitarre. Etwas erschrocken war ich, wie schwer das Instrument ist, als ich es das erste Mal auspackte. Aber der Korpus schmiegt sich an den Körper und da ist vom Gewicht kaum etwas zu spüren. Schön ausbalanciert. Der Hals fühlt sich seidig an und ist gut zu greifen. Eine Bedienungsanleitung habe ich im Netz gefunden. Das wäre im Karton ganz nett gewesen.
Im Gigbag ist die Gitarre gut aufgehoben. Auch hier scheint die Qualität zu stimmen.
Würde ich die Gitarre noch einmal kaufen? Wenn ich keine hätte ja, wenn mein Sohn die mitnimmt wenn er auszieht - dann in einer anderen Farbe.
