Great idea, well made, but poor utilisation of available space

I’m off on tour next month and needed a 2 guitar solution. The idea of a wheelable case that transitions into a guitar stand is a no brainier.

The case itself is well made and comes with enough foam to adapt to most “non silly shape” electric guitars. The lid has metal latches and everything feels very well made and professional.

My only issue so far is that there is enough dead space inside the case to perhaps house accessories such as extra cables, tremelo arms etc. yet there is no provision for these items. I’m very seen a guy on YouTube fit his interior with some stick on plastic hooks to secure tremelo arms and also a spare cable. It’s a shame this doesn’t come as standard in the first place.

Otherwise I’m impressed.

Ja, das Teil ist wirklich in Ordnung. Es lässt sich super transportieren. Die Instrumente sind sicher verpackt. Alles ist schnell zusammen gepackt und zu schwer ist es auch nicht.
Es gibt aber doch einige Einwände. Der Trennmittel-Film auf dem Case und der damit einhergehende Geruch ist schon hart. Da hilft erst mal nur putzen. Okay, soweit so gut. Aber die überstehenden Kanten und Ecken vom verkleben ?…na ja da kann man schon mal ins grübeln kommen.
Die magnetische Halterung vom Deckel ist auch eher ein Witz. Gut gemeint aber der überstehende Schaumstoff des Deckels macht es unmöglich, dass die magnetische Verbindung wirklich halten könnte.
Trotzdem ist es natürlich eine feine Sache das case auf die Bühne stellen zu können und sich keine Gedanken mehr machen zu müssen, ob die Instrumente wirklich in Sicherheit sind. Da kippt so schnell nichts um.
Ich behalte es, muss mich aber trotzdem fragen, ob man bei dem stolzen Preis nicht auch eine bessere Verarbeitung hätte erwarten können.

Très bon malgrès quelques petit défauts

Je cherchais un moyen pratique et sécurisé de transporter mes guitares que ce soit en concert et en répète. J'ai commandé ce Gator Minivault et le ENKI AMG2, et j'ai finalement conservé le Gator.

Ce dernier a une découpe plus basse qui le rend bien plus pratique lorsqu'il s'agit de rapidement accéder aux guitares quand il est utilisé comme stand.

Le tout semble très solide et sécurisé.

L'espace est un peu léger, notamment si vous avez des guitares avec floyd rose ou Bigsby.

Point négatif pour moi, le choix par défaut de l'orientation des guitares (face vers la droite) qui n'est pas changeable. J'ai été obligé de brioler le système d'attache pour le changer de sens.

Lange habe ich auf das Gator Multivault gewartet, weil es bisher nur in den USA verfügbar war. Das Case ist trotz der Größe einfach in der Handhabung. Auch mit zwei Gitarren ist das Case noch tragbar und kann also auch alleine ins Auto gewuppt werden. Alle Verschlüsse wirken hochwertig verarbeitet, das gilt auch für das Case selbst. Es hat aber an einigen Stellen ziemlich raue Kanten, die erstmal fürs Auge stören. Das behindert aber ansonsten gar nicht. Es passen die „normalen“ Gitarren ohne Probleme ins Case. Explorer und Flying V müssen aber draußen bleiben.

Stören tut die Tatsache, dass der Schaumstoff für den Halsbereich auf der linken Seite breiter ist als rechts. Ist nicht höchstdramatisch, wirkt aber nicht hochwertig. Dünne Hälse wackeln dadurch etwas hin und her. Ist der Deckel aber auf dem Case, steht die Gitarre stramm und bewegt sich nicht mehr.
