Essential drumhead for practice/electronic

Bought as a replacement of its main competitor from Remo. Haven't experienced much difference between the two. Both are a bit bouncy but are a single ply, lower tuning does compensate the bouncy feeling a bit. This one come in a different colour than Remo and imho looks a bit more cool but that's just a personal preference. I use it with Sensory Percussion sensor from Evans and it is pretty responsive allowing sensor to capture nuances like ghost notes (subject to drum tuning and SP training / settings).
I recommend using stick with nylon tips or use a dedicated pair of wooden tip sticks for mesh heads only to avoid any wooden sticks splinter mess.

Reliable product that gives a quiet alternative for Drum Practice

This product made by Evans is really useful for a drummer who wants to keep the volume down while practicing, the heads are very responsive and can be tuned easily enough with a few tweaks. Very reliable product.

Gutes Spielgefühl, Schwäche bei der Standfestigkeit

Ich hab für mein E-Schlagzeug das Evans Sound Off Mesh Head in der Größe 10" für meine Snare und 8" für die Bassdrum bestellt. Gutes Spielgefühl bei der Snare, hier auch noch keine Ermüdungszeichen sichtbar. Auch gutes Spielgefühl bei der Bassdrum, leider war das Fell bereits nach ca. 4 Wochen durchgetreten. Lag vielleicht auch an der etwas giftigen Einstellung der Fußmaschine (Millenium PD-122 Pro Bass). Jedenfalls hab ich für den nächsten Versuch zum Schutz des Felles ein EQ Patsch von Evans geklebt. Das wird halten.
