Die Baritone von Danelectro BMF hält was sie verspricht, ist genau wie ich es erwartet habe und hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Am Anfang gab es zwar eine kleine Überraschung (anders als angeboten, war es kein "6 in a row headstock"), aber Thomann hat das sehr kulant gelöst und ich bin inzwischen trotzdem mit der neuen Bauart von Danelectro zufrieden.
Ich setze die Baritone bei einem Teil unseres Rockabilly-Sets (rauhe 50er, frühe Garage) ein und spiele dann überwiegend single-notes in der mittleren Pickup-Einstellung und teilweise auch "normale" Rhythmusgitarre. Die Tonehöhe lässt sich gut, je nach dem was die Lead-Gitarre spielt, regeln. Der Sound ist wie er sein soll: sehr authentisch (in Kombination mit einem entsprechenden Amp - hier ein Peavey classic 30), glasklar und eben bariton.
Die Verarbeitung ist ordentlich und die Lackierung trifft auch genau meinen Geschmack.
Also: Alles gut und absolut empfehlenswert.

Utseende: Vackert lackad utan felaktigheter.
Passform: Att döma av utanpåskriften ser det ut att inte vara perfekt passform mellan hals och kropp på vissa ställen. Dock är resonansen mycket bra varför det inte spelar någon roll. Alla enskilda strängar ger bra genklang i kroppen.
Spelbarhet: När jag först tog i instrumentet var det alltför hög action. Jag halverade både kurvaturen och stallhöjden utan att det gav minsta skorr. Därefter är den lika lättspelad som en bättre akustisk gitarr vilket är bra med tanke på att strängarna är betydligt tjockare.
Ton: Otroligt inspirerande ljud. Jag vill inte sluta spela.

Satisfaisant

Un assez bon instrument, assez limité par nature, mais plutot de bonne facture, léger. La guitare est arrivée bien reglée avec quelques goodies, mais sans housse...En position Micro manche le son est très rond mais manque de profondeur, les basses sont quand même plutôt bien définies et appellent un jeu très rythmique, funk, jazz fusion etc. Le micro chevalet est extrêmement claquant et brillant, très satisfaisant et révèle le potentiel de la gratte. (CF Baritone Funk de Mark Lettieri) Coté finitions c'est pas encore parfait, les frettes sont un peu tranchantes par endroits, et la bande adhésive blanche qui décore le contour de la gratte semble fragile. Je suis plutot satisfait de l'instrument dans son ensemble. Vous pouvez acheter sans crainte!

Fantastiskt sound

Skön att spela på och grymt sound vare sig du vill ha rent eller distat ljud. Barytonstämningen inspirerar till nya idéer. Strängarna kan dock upplevas som tjocka/hårda för den ovane. Urcool design och ett bra bygge.
