I recently purchased one of these as I have been reading about them. I wasn't sure if they were a gimmick or not. I think that they do make a difference. You will notice that I have marked 'sound' and 'response' with 4 and not 5 stars, that is because I have only just started to use it and it takes a bit of time to adjust both to the feel, tone and weight difference, it obviously makes the mouthpiece heavier. The quality of the product is excellent and the fit on a standard shape mouthpiece is secure. I would say that this product enhances the sound and characteristics of your mouthpiece.

... sicherlich ist die Einschätzung, ob ein Booster den erhofften Kick bringen kann oder nicht sehr subjektiv. Für mich habe ich keinen positiven Effekt im Sound und im Spielgefühl feststellen können.

Ich finde aber wohl, dass der Booster das Brand Kunsstoff Mundstück optisch echt aufwertet (natürlich auch das sehr subjektiv).

Trotz der Montage exakt nach Anleitung - und mit einem durchaus vorhandenen Verständnis für Mechanik - hatte ich nie den Eindruck, dass der Booster wirklich richtig fest sitzt....insofern back to Thomann...

Zufälligerweise hatte ich noch einen alten Booster von Dennis Wick, der scheint zu passen =;-)
