I am very happy to write the very first review for this superb organ from Hammond, even though it has been here for only 24 hours !!!
Nice finish, and robust, handy to play. It is light weight too.
The effects switches are the right size, to switch on or off while playing, with bright indicators on switch on. I also liked that little tint on the keys, with that two pieces of ‘wood’ in it’s sides, as if you have a real vintage B3!!
As for sound, it really punch in headphones, or when fed through an amplifier, especially tube amps. To hear that beautiful sound of rotating Leslie speakers, you have to plug it in a stereo amp.
It is worth buying this nice organ, especially when you are interested in that HAMMOND B3 sound !!!

Si tu recherches le son Hammond qu'il soit brut, soft, bright ou quoique ce soit (choisis le nom que tu voudras ) n'hésites pas comme moi pendant des années avant d'acquérir ce clavier car ça ne serait qu'une pure perte de temps. D'autres constructeur proposent des sons Hammond dans des claviers qui allient aussi piano à queue, Rhodes, Wurlitzer et d'autres sonorités encore, ok dans ces appareils-là les sons Hammond sont sympa mais franchement, là y a pas photo. Le xk1-c, c'est du 100% Hammond, c'est du lourd et les possibilités sont étendues.

Une fois entré dans les différents menus tu peux absolument TOUT régler, tout mettre à ta sauce. Je ne t'en dis pas plus il y a quelques surprises sympa.

Ayant déjà acquis quelques claviers dans cette gamme de prix (entre 1.500 et 2.300), je peux te dire que le rapport qualité pris pour le SK1-c est très intéressant.

Amoureux du son Hammond, fais-toi plaisir ! ;)

Tolles "Rock-Baby"!

Nachdem meine Roland VK-7 (die ich sehr geliebt habe) nach 14 Jahren nicht mehr so recht zu gebrauchen war, weil sich der Kleber für die Tastaturgewichte auflöste, musste eine neue Orgel her.

Das "Celebration Package" mit der Hammond xk1-c bei Thomann kam da gerade recht. Das Angebot gab mir dann auch die Möglichkeit, eine "echte" Hammond zu erwerben.

Und so klingt sie denn auch:
Man hört bei der reichhaltigen Preset-Auswahl B3s in allen Schattierungen. Ob nun clean und sanft, röchelnd, schreiend...

Hier klingt einfach alles "amtlich". Auch die vorhandenen Tone-Sets der Vox-, Farfisa- und Pfeifenorgel- Abteilungen.

Ich verwende als Leslie-Sim zusätzlich den Neo Ventilator II, weil die interne Sim zwar gut, der Venti (nach meiner Meinung) aber noch besser klingt.

Die Hammond xk-1c ist sehr leicht und gut verarbeitet. Jegliche Parameter sind editierbar.

Die Drawbars sind aus Platzgründen oben angebracht und nicht links neben der (sehr guten) Waterfall-Tastatur. Daher sind sie mehr als eine Art Fader (ohne Rasterung) zu sehen. Die Bedienung der Zugriegel ist aber völlig in Ordnung.

Alles in allem bekommt man mit diesem Instrument, zu einem fairen Preis (vor allem mit diesen Zugaben) ein tolles kleines Orgel-Keyboard. Ganz sicher wird sie mir genauso lange Spaß bereiten wie meine alte Roland.

Wenn man also keine Extra-Voices benötigt, wie sie bei der SK1/2 von Hammond integriert sind, ist diese Hammond ein tolles "Rock -Baby".

j'aurais bien voulu le XK5 ( ayant possédé un A100 il y a quelques temps) mais le prix ...
pour le transport et l'utilisation le XK1C est parfait,
après l'ajustement de quelques paramètres le son, le jeu ,
sont assez fidèles,
2e évaluation après un mois d'utilisation,
Super satisfait, on peut régler et mémoriser (sur clé) toutes les roues phoniques et l'égaliseur de chaque tirettes en fonction de la réponse en fréquences de la source de diffusion ( j'utilise soit
une leslie 21 , soit un ventilator, ). Avec les câbles appropriés on peut commander ces deux derniers avec les commandes rotary du clavier ,mémoriser plusieurs types d'orgues , du "propre" au "gras". mémoriser et gérer un module ou arrangeur , les 8 mémoires directes : un peu limite en clavier maitre , sinon l'ergonomie est bien conçue (Hammond !) et le son !
le toucher bien agréable. la leslie interne après quelques réglages proches du réel est satisfaisante ,mais un bon effet externe ou une vraie leslie et là OK .
