Flamma FS07 Cab IR Loader

Flamma is een ontdekking. Veel voor een redelijke prijs. Deze ir loader doet het prima, alles wat ik er heen heb gesmeten (en dat is best veel) werkte. Toch kwam ik meestal terug bij de factory ir's. Bediening op de grond vond ik niet zo handig. A/B lastig en meestal gewoon op cycle door de ir's staan. Mooie extra is de latency (mooi doubler effect) en dat heeft mijn tc electronics mimic even vervangen. ik heb nu ook de reverb van Flamma maar dat vind ik ruk.

Nette IR loader die door de stereo functie met latency mogelijkheid een redlijk vet doubler effect weet te bereiken waardoor je een massiever geluid krijgt.

Hou er wel rekening mee dat je hem bijna aan het einde van je effectchain zet anders kan het geluid enorm tegenvallen, als je hem aan het eind hebt staan klinkt ie baggervet.
Je Delay en Reverb kunnen er wel achter, maar andere effecten zou ik ervoor houden.

Handige managing software te downloaden op de Flamma website om je eigen IR's in te laden en je presets te bewerken.

Superstevig gebouwd, mooi apparaatje om te zien ook.
Er staat Flamma op maar hij is in de Mooer fabriek in elkaar gesleuteld.

Update: As of this morning the Flamma software (which keeps on getting flagged as non-trusted by Windows) without any update, stops recognizing the device, stating it needs a firmware upgrade. No upgrade to be found on the flamma website. To rely on pc software has broken many features of many musical products over the years and this product proofs again that connecting your pc with your hardware for ease of configuration and loss of this ability over time (have the same issue with a fender superchamp x2, where some features can't even be reached anymore..) should be taken into account. So this is why quality now gets only three stars as the software quality is taken into account and the loss of features also a negative point in handling.

Mainly playing directly into my mixer/recorder at line level, using two Boss Pedals (ST-2 and BC-2) as pre-amps, mostly using the UK212 cab and adding some latency on one of cabs to fatten up the sound. This setup is very convenient also when using my stereo effects (I use a lehle P-Split III passive splitter to split the single guitar source). My other setup is in the effects loop of my amp where one output of the fs07 goes to the return in the effects loop and the other is used for recording.
The easiest way to get to know the pedal is by downloading the software and connecting the pedal via usb. The application shows you your adjustments realtime, so after a view tries you can do it on the pedal without the visual confirmation on your pc screen.
This is my first try on the realm of IR's, made possible by the comparable low price. For recording this could become my goto setup, as it's much more convenient to setup quickly than my amps and it is completely silent. I might also be in the market for the amp modeler Flamma FS06.

Just recently bought this product and I am a bit surprised how good this thing is. A simple stereo IR loader with high and low pass filters. Great response and the option to upload your own IR's is great. This offers lots of possibilities. The software is simple but efficient.
One thing though... notice that the instructions on the pedal, in regards to downloading the software, are inaccurate. Apparently Flamma has a new website. It's a bit tricky to find the download page but after some online research I found out that the software can be downloaded from the Flamma's Shop page (not Flamma Innovations as per the instructions on the pedal booklet) under Manual. Then click software and choose your product. Hope this helps. I'm only give 4 out of 5 in "handling" because of this bit (it really took me some time to sort this out).
