The tone of this recorder is beautiful throughout its range. The two extra keys are invaluable to me as I have small hands and would be unable to play a tenor recorder without them. The recorder is new and at present I have only played the recorder for short time spans following the recommendations from Mollenhauer. It is made from rosewood and has a lovely grain running through it. I would highly recommend this recorder to any enthusiast.

The four flaps make the game easier for a small-grown man, as I am, of course, that is not a question. They also work perfectly and do not clatter. However, you need to use this instrument to get a half-harmless intonation, a lot of auxiliary handles - for example, both Fis, the lower B and the second H-handle would all be much too high. This makes the handling of course again more complicated and also the sound result of these replacement handles is not really exhilarating. My copy also has the tendency (despite careful importing over weeks) the tendency to block quite quickly and stubbornly.

I can only recommend the flute to a limited extent.
