About Focusrite ISA 828
Qing Lin 17.02.2022
I am the oboe teacher of Leipzig Musikhochschule, I like to do the recording for myself, and also for many different instrument students record the auditions, competitions, so on. I used Focusrite ISA 428 MkII already 5 years, a lot of surprises. As a professional oboist, to me it has very big resonance, powerful, warm bass and beautiful colors with high notes with oboe. Now I am going to use more microphones to record, also I bought again ISA 828 few weeks ago, some friends told me 428 is better, and somebody said 828 bettet, after I tried both, in fact not so big difference with sound, but I prefer to use the 828 the Analogue outputs connect to my Apollo X8p, it’s so easy. Now I am still waiting for the Millennius HV-3D 8 amplifier, looking forward to see how it is.
One recording from last year with Focusrite ISA 428.
