Nicely constructed speaker, very sturdy, sounded really well in sub bass. However, I managed to damage it because I was not using any limiters or compressors, just an analogue crossover. It is still operational and sounds great but only on lower volume.

Der Eminence Kappa Pro 15 LF läuft bei mir in einem Doppel 15er Reflex Gehäuse und ersetzt die vorherigen Chassis, die leider dem wachsenden bedarf an Tiefbass weichen mussten.
Die Chassis sind in der üblichen, sicheren Papp Verpackung gut für den Versand geschützt und strahlen in einem schönen, gut verarbeiteten Speaker Look.
Klanglich macht das Chassis seinem Namenszusatz "LF" alle Ehre.
Ein gewaltiger Hub bei 50Hz sorgt für ausreichend, Wums besonders für Bass-Drum und tiefe elektronische Bässe. Sicherlich gibt es was die Präzision im höheren Bereich um die 90Hz angeht exaktere Bässe, aber wer es tief und laut braucht, der trifft mit diesem Chassis sicherlich eine gute Wahl.
Im Doppelpack ist dieser Treiber so manchem mächtigen 18"er Gespann überlegen.

J'ai acheté deux Kappa Pro-15LF-2 pour remplacer les haut parleurs des mes caissons Peavey 500 XT.
J'ai fait sauter le filtre passif intégré et j'utilise un filtre actif réglé à 90 Hz.
Avec le même ampli que précédemment, je suis obligé de baisser le gain de 10 dB sur les basses pour conserver l'équilibre avec les médium/aigus.

Bref, super boomers avec un super rendement.
