Overall Good Mic :)

This is the mic if you don't want go for budget choice, but don't want to spend ton of money either. Mic quality is good with both usb and xlr and build quality feels ok. My usb port broke so I'm stuck using xlr, and I'm not sure how it broke so be careful with it.

It has two design flaws that make it an awful product - especially considering its USB functionality
1. As a USB microphone, the gain is way too low. Unless you speak very, very close to the mic, you can't be heard in a chat. Definitely not ideal for broadcast use.
2. When the XLR cable is connected, there is significant crosstalk noise that can be heard through the USB. The two circuits are not properly isolated. As such, you can't leave the mic in a boom with both cables connected. You have to physically disconnect the cable every time you want to use it as a USB mic.

For that price? Damn!

Bought this mic so I wouldn't need to use a DAW while recording & streaming a podcast (my computer was struggling a bit).
It is truly a Plug & Play device, super easy to connect, next to no setup required, and it works.
Build quality is super nice! It feels pretty solid and looks great as well.
I like that it allows for either XLR or USB. I find the addition of a headphones-out highly unnecessary, but it might come in handy in some specific scenarios.

Either way I definitely recommend this one for that price. Been using it almost on a daily basis, and it works perfectly fine!

Great Microphone

The t.bone MB 7 Beta USB is a great microphone for plug and play. I have used the microphone for a month for streaming and have gotten great feedback by friends and viewers that the microphone sounds great for the price.

I recommend this mocrophones if you are into streaming and gaming.
