Awesome clarity

I wanted studio monitors for mixing + for music listening at home and I was checking similar monitors with similar price and my two final candidates were Rokit 5 g 4 and these. I was really surprised that these are so clear sounding and have so perfect clarity. They are about 100€ cheaper than Rokit 5 g 4 but lack a little bit in the bass department. You can hear everything really well and the sound is just superb. These would be a must for mixing in the studio. Since the bass was lacking, these weren't a perfect match for me as I need these at home too. But a good sub would fix this issue. Krk has little bit more bass and that won me over to them. If I would need studio monitors for studio purposes only, these would be my pick because of the crisp sound quality. Also, they are very stylish.

Had to return the first pair, good value for money now that I have a pair that works

One of the speakers in the product I first received didn't play any sound. I did some troubleshooting myself to no avail and then contacted PreSonus's customer support, who were very quick to respond and told me based on my own troubleshooting results that it's most likely a faulty product and I should contact Thomann about it. I then returned it to Thomann, which also went smoothly, and got it replaced with a new pair that doesn't have any problems. It was a bit of a bummer to have to wait an extra ~2 weeks to get a functional product and it doesn't make me super convinced about the overall quality control of these speakers even if the pair I now have seems fine.

The sound is pretty decent, I can clearly hear pretty small details even in complex mixes and with the EQ controls, I can acceptably compensate for my room being a bit heavy in the high frequencies. It's not like it blows me away or anything, but it gets the job done, which is impressive at this price point. The visual design is great to my tastes and the PreSonus customer support was top tier with their quick and actually useful response.

Hankittu "vain" tarkkailukaiuttimiksi kotistudioon, mutta nyt ne soivat pääkaiuttimina - saundi on elävä, läsnäoleva, tarkka - jopa analyyttinen, aluksi tuntui että tulee liikaa keskiääntä, mutta tähän tottui nopeasti , johtunee edellisten kaiuttimien puutteesta sillä alueella. Kalliimpi ja kookkaampi Yamaha HS-7 pari sai väistyä, nyt viimeistään huomasi niitten värittyneen äänen.
Toki säädöt löytyy keskiäänilla, se hyvä, ja laajat säätöalueet, ovat kaikki edelleen keskiasennossa ja bassosäädin flat- ei pudotusta. Suosittelen lämpimästi tätä kaiutinta! Hienoa kun uskoin aiempia kehuja kaiuttimesta! No, bassoakin tulee yllättävän hyvin - peruskuunteluun aivan tarpeeksi - voisi sanoa että hämmästyttää siinäkin! Todella vastinetta rahalle!! Siitä huolimatta laitoin tilaukseen saman sarjan 8" subbarin, sitä odotellessa!! - odotukset on korkealla!

Excellent monitors for a small home setup

I got these monitors to mix and edit stuff at home. Very surprised about the sound quality and the feel.

The monitors are very stylish, I like the look and the hard case they have. They don't feel or look cheap at all.

I work in audio, and I gotta say these are really good and realistic sounding monitors for the price. Only downside IMO is the frequency response in the downstairs department, which is anyway completely understandable regarding the size. (5 inches)

All in all, very pleased with these monitors, really bang for the buck. Recommended for anyone looking for a budget solution for an amateur/intermediate setup.
