(i am here for the voucher).. :)..but i ll give it a shot.
Recearch in depth usually pays off..For the price..this is excellent.I dont have the need to compare it, or search for flaws.
The time i plugged everything i realized that you can accompany it with the Mackie woofer witch is sold separately unfortunatelly and costs about 200e !!!Just for the whole experience.
The good thing is that there is a tone knob wich anticlock flats everything and clockwise boosts bass and high frequencies,so i dont know if you need a subwoofer out of the box.
I hope i ll get lucky with the voucher rotary and thats all!Very happy!

Good speakers

My old speakers crapped out on me, and I had had my eyes on these for a while. The bass is quite punchy, but not at all too much. The only fault I can say is a cosmetic one: the Mackie logo on the non-controlling speaker doesn't light up, but that's a very small thing.

Ottime casse ma vanno corrette...

Dopo aver passato mesi di ricerca in rete ed aver valutato i pro e i contro,
di queste casse come di altri prodotti similari, a fronte di qualche benemerito che si è preso la briga di fare una esatta misurazione delle risposte in frequenza, mi sono deciso ad acquistarle...ed ho fatto benissimo ! Infatti se usate, come me, una DAW ed avete un buon EQ, applicate la correzione sotto descritta alla fine della catena Master (che ovviamente eliminerete al momento del rendering) e avrete risultati che vi stupiranno per la neutralità della risposta. Fantastica la spedizione di Thoman come al solito.

Klein und sehr fein

Die kleinen Boxen haben einen sehr angenehmen Klang. Volle Mitten, klare Höhen und gute Tiefen. Insgesamt bieten sie ein sehr rundes Sound-Erlebnis.
Ich selbst nutze sie, um in meinem Büro Musik zu hören und zur Kontrolle beim Digitalisieren meiner LPs. Ich könnte mir aber auch vorstellen, sie für Produktionen in meinem Heimstudio zu verwenden.
Den rumsenden, Zimmer erbebenden Tiefbass haben sie konstruktionsbedingt natürlich nicht. Aber das erwartet auch niemand.
Sie sind sehr sauber verarbeitet. Die Klangregelung und den Kopfhöreranschluss brauche ich nicht. Aber vielleicht ist es gut, wenn es vorhanden ist.
