DiGiCo hat mit dem UB MADI den Anfang gemacht.
War es vor 2012 schon ein Wahnsinn das man überhaupt MADI auf USB wandelt und das nahezu Latenzfrei. Wo das UB MADI nur 52 Kanäle kann, liegen wir beim MADIFACE-USB bei 64 Kanälen. Und RME setzt noch einen drauf. Ein Madi-Interface und ein Wandler von Optisch-MADI auf Analog, eine richtig einfache Installation.....Oh Yeah!

Berümte RME Sound und Ergonomie
Völlig kompatibel mit Totalmix, kleines, kompaktes Interface mit BCN und Glassfaser MADI Anschlüsse. Total zufrieden damit, wunderbaren Klang.

Seitdem ich das Madiface im Studio habe, gabs keine Interfaceprobleme mehr - wenn man den passenden Wandler hat - nicht knausern und zu RME greifen.

Essential and extremely practical MADI interface
The MADIface USB is a very important part of my setup. I use it to remotely control an RME UFX+ and as a compact stage box, connected with just a single optical MADI cable. This makes the system extremely practical for touring — easy to fly with or travel by train — and allows us to rehearse and then use exactly the same setup in a venue with almost zero setup time.
The only downside is the lack of a headphone output. As a workaround, I open a DAW and use the last MADI output, sending a signal to the UFX+ and routing it back to the MADIface, while monitoring through the headphone output of my MacBook Pro. It’s a bit complicated, but once a preset is set up, it works reliably every time.
Overall, a very professional, compact, and rock-solid interface. Absolutely worth the investment.
