Tja, was soll ich sagen?

Good for the price I guess
The Harley Benton Octopus pickup is unique in that it uses a ventouse to attach to instruments. This might be the best way to use a contact mic if you don't want to use sticky putty. It is difficult to get the ventouse to stick to the instrument (I tried with a cello), but once it is stuck on, it won't fall off. Reviews that claim the pickup fell off suggest that the user did not put in the necessary effort to eliminate the air under it. It can really stick! The product's weak points are sound quality and loudness: the signal was very low. Another thing to notice: I ordered two mics and one of them arrived damaged: When I moved the cable in certain positions, the signal disappeared. This is probably a symptom of low quality. Still, considering the price, this mic is worth a try.
