Nice bar for mobile/quick installations

I love the idea of this product, it can save you a lot of cable mess and also some installation time. You only need one power and dmx feed, and if you use some 0.5 m dmx and power cables, it's very little cable mess. I use it with a wireless DMX receiver as well, so it's just to connect it to one power outlet and mount it on the site - plug and play!
On the negative side, it's no description on how to assemble the nuts and bolts, and the fixture bolts are maybe a bit too long - but you can change them if needed. I also wish there was a stronger version, that could take some more weight.
But worth the investment, if you want a clean and mobile rig!

This is a nice solid piece of equipment, easy to install and use, and does exactly the job, what it was designed for. I never had difficulties with this product. Very good quality materials.

Sehr praktisches Teil

Ein sehr praktisches Tool, wir haben dadurch die Aufbauzeit unseres Lichts um die Hälfte verkürzen können. Gibt es meines Wissens nur bei Thomann, die Leute wissen, was man im täglichen Roadgeschäft braucht, sonst kommt niemand auf die Idee. Abzüge gibt es bei der Verarbeitung, da nach dem ersten Aufbau gleich die Feststellschraube der Stativhalterung abgebrochen ist. Die volle Sterneanzahl gibt es trotzdem, da völlig unkompliziert gleich ein entsprechendes Ersatzteil (noch dazu von K&M) geliefert wurde. Kaufempfehlung!

Zu geringe Traglast

Eigentlich ein tolles und durchdachtes Produkt:
- Strom für 5 Geräte. einzeln abgesichert
- DMX-Splitter eingebaut
- flexible Befestigungsmöglichkeiten

Der große Nachteil, der die Leiste für mich auch für sehr viele Fälle unbrauchbar macht: Die Traglast liegt bei 2,5 KG pro Schraube, 10 KG insgesamt. Das reicht nicht einmal für 2 Scanner oder größere Scheinwerfer. Für den Partykeller geht er Balken aber in Ordnung.

Thomann könnte den Hinweis auf die geringe Traglast auch in die Produktbeschreibung stellen: Ich habe jetzt 8 Stück im Keller liegen, weil ich die Einschränkung erst nachträglich bemerkt habe: Ich fragte mich, ob ich einigen von den Balken nach je 2 Showtec Airstrikes an der Unterseite noch eine Reihe Spots auf der Oberseite zumuten kann und musste feststellen, das der Balken bereits mit den 2 hängenden Geräten doppelt überlastet war.
