Brilliant security for lights, and a must if you are hanging them. These cables are long enough to fit round a section of trussing and still reach the safety hope on the fixture itself. Being able to loop the cable around the entire section of truss just gives that bit of extra security.

It says these cables are rated to 15kg and they feel like they could hold several times that amount- stick to the 15kg limit obviously but it's nice to have that piece of mind that they aren't being pushed to their limits at that weight.

My only slight criticism is that the screw coupler has to be opened all of the way to allow it to fit around any standard sized safety eye, and this can be a tricky and fiddly (and at times frustrating!) job, particularly to do it up again once the eye is inside. A bit of extra room here wouldn't have gone a miss.

Otherwise though an excellent piece of kit. Something you hope you never have to put to the test but reassuringly strong for extra piece of mind.
