Mixed bag

The Sonitus stuff is a mixed bag of sorts. Easy setup, stays in place, affects the sound as it should. The material itself is still more rigid than it should be (even thou this is the third generation). Rigidity is a problem because the stiffer the foam, the weirder it feels when you are playing. It might not affect you as much as me if you are not the bury-the-beater-type. I am, so it feels too stiff, rigid. The adjustability in this version helps slightly, but not as noticably as I'd like. Also, the adjustability is a nice feature, adds to your options on shaping the sound. So... half great, half bad. Weird I know, but... for the price, it is an experiment, but it might work great for you. I altered the edge (cut some foam out, was a hassle, but now, works as I need it to be. Try it! Quality stuff, just wasn't perfect for me.

Das oder den Nachfolger kaufen

Der Dämpfer tut, was er soll in meiner Acryl-Bassdrum (22x18). Habe ihn aus optischen Gründen gekauft und hat meine Erwartungen absolut erfüllt. In Zusammenspiel mit einem Evans Emad macht die BD einen funkigen Boom :-).
Gut sind die herausnehmenbaren Teile, die ich aber alle drin habe, um den Ton kurz zu halten. Der Nachfolger ("All in One") kostet nur wenig mehr, hat aber den Vorteil, einen Mikrofonhalter zu platzieren. Für unsere Band wäre das letztlich von Vorteil gewesen, aber es geht auch mit dieser Variante, indem man den Mikro-Halter mit Tape o.ä. festklebt. Aber auf dem Kunststoff hält aber nicht jedes Tape , d.h. hier ggf. mal ausprobieren oder den Nachfolger inkl. Mikrohalter kaufen.

Il est compliqué de noter ce genre de produit car tout dépend des goûts et des couleurs. Le mieux est encore de le tester chez soi (ce que j'ai fait).
Pour ma part, j'en suis plutôt satisfait. En m'enregistrant, j'ai pu faire la comparaison avec un chiffon classique puis avec le Kicker. Le son qui en résulte est un son précis, qui ne perd pas trop de grave et supprime l'effet "ballon" qu'on peux avoir quand la grosse caisse est vide. Au niveau de la sensation de jeux, le Kicker me permet d'avoir un meilleur contrôle car il diminue les rebonds sur les coups simple. J'ai également choisi ce modèle car on peut choisir le taux d'atténuation et sa forme permet quand même de placer un micro à l'intérieur de la grosse caisse.
Très pratique en tournée, car il ne bouge pas beaucoup et permet donc de gagner un peu de temps lors de l'installation.

Sehr gut

Das Kissen passt sehr gut in eine 22" Basedrum.
Die Dämpfung ist gut und klingt genau so wie ich es mir wünsche.
Ansonsten lässt sich die Dämpfung mit den herausnehmbaren Teilen auch sehr gut anpassen.
Der große Vorteil ist das beim Transport nichts verrutsch, auch wenn man die Base einmal hochkant transportiert.
