The spirit of the instrument cable!
I have two variations of these instrument cables and they rock! Just like Thomann :-)
This one is used for guitar having jack insert like a strat does, while the other one is with angled jack for different guitars. In comparison to less expensive Snake and Cordial that I have, this is noticeable difference. These are sturdier and to a degree less flexible, so there is less chance of damage if you plan to jump around when playing. That was not my initial intention because I tend to jump around in different occasions :-) For me more important was the fact that the shielding is much denser than with cheaper cables. For home use cheaper instrument cables usually do the trick, unless you have more noise like me. In one room cheaper cables can be used and I was very happy with those, but when I moved my toys to another room I needed more shielding and Sommer does the trick.

Best cable I ever owned.
I've had many Fender cables in my life, they all broke at some point. I have this one for probably two years as my main guitar cable, it's being used every single day. It just works. No weird twisting, it just rolls up like new, the connectors are like new. Best. cable. ever. Get it, no need for those 100€ extra fancy ones that you don't dare touching because they were so expensive.

When using such a pair, it is necessary to consider jack's case size - not much, but wide, with close proximity I \ O can put a little pressure on each other.

Great for the value
Product has a great value for what is delivered, very good quality and would satisfy the expectations of those who need that type of instrument cable without breaking the bank. Is worth to mention that the item arrived in a very reasonable time and in perfect condition. Would definitely buy another one!

Good quality product. In my personal experience it did not fit well into the hole on my IBANEZ S670qm, this was due to the size of the heads. But on my PRS SE it was great to use.

Quality cables at an affordable price!
I bought one of these about a year ago to replace one of my hi-end Cordial cables that was giving me some problems, since then I've replaced all my cables with sommer cables as they deliver at least as much quality as the more expensive Cordial pro cables I used before and a big plus is that (due to the special fabrick around the sides of the cable) they don't get tangled up as easy as other cables do, so you don't lose time getting all the knots out of your cables everytime you wanna have a jam. And for this price you can't go wrong. Try 'm out, you won't regret it. ;)

Instrument only
Sommer cables are generally nice and they sound smooth, but they don't necessarily have good plugs. I believe this cable was designed for guitar users rather than keyboard users. Since this cable doesn't connect very well inside my mixer's (Soundcraft) sockets, I'm planning to replace the plugs with Neutrik ones which is additional cost to me and waste of the original plugs. If you are making a connection into an old-skool amp with tight sockets, the cable should work fine, but if you are patching into a console, get the lightweight cable with more precise and matte finish on the lightweight jacks from Neutrik.

My new favourite
I owned the angled jack version for quite some time and really loved it. But for strat use, this one is more suited. So just bought the same with two straight jacks.

Great cable for instruments
This was purchased as an upgrade for very cheap cables that I use on my stage2, very robust cable. Nice to have the tie included to keep things neat and tidy.
Flexible enough to cope with hanging neatly from the keyboard, but they wouldn't do well in tight spaces.
Owned for a few months with regular setup and usage, no signs of wear and tear so I'm expecting these to last for years
