It does its job
It works fine for light winds and to protect the mics generally, but for strong winds, it won't work, not because it is a bad quality product but because it is simply not made for that. I still use them on nature recordings inside forests where the wind is not a big issue.

works pretty well, not only on Rode, but with other brands (Neumann, Linear Phase)
