They work well for guitars with low frets, which can be hard to fret with traditional strings when playing fast fingerstyle. I was not sure about these ones. Have been using Martin strings that sound great but wear off very rapidly. These ones retain a similar tone but seem a bit more durable and somewhat lighter gauge.

The overall feeling on the fingers is smooth. Would buy again!
