I bought these hoping they would be a drop-in replacement for my HB NZ-4000 NT. Unfortunately they didn't fit, so I had to fill and redrill the holes. It was my first time attempting something like this so I just used tooth picks and super glue (the old holes are covered by the new tuners anyway). Was very pleased with the results.

These tuners are fantastic - my bass now has unbelievable tuning stability - I can play very heavily for many hours and it will still hold tune. The high gear ratio makes it painless to fine tune. They feel very, very solid.

All in all, would absolutely recommend them - just make sure to measure your existing tuners first!

Great set of Tuners

Used them to replace an older set that was constantly going out of tune. This set held nicely and took a very long time to even be slightly noticeably out of tune. Would recommend.

the gold standard of modern tuning machines

bought these to replace the cheap tuners on my standard issue ibanez. there's nothing wrong with the stock tuners, they just feel a little vague and look cheap. these things are as awesome as tuning machines can get without making me sound like i'm really into tuning machines. which i'm not.

i mean there are lots of things more interesting than tuning machines. like video games and buying more guitars and debating netflix politics. but as far as tuning machines go, if i had tuning machine children, i would want them to be just like these.

there. i reviewed tuning machines. these are great.
