Equip 333309 19" PowerBox SP 7-way

You ever notice how power distributors can get really expensive? Yeah. maybe the fancy ones make electricity run cleaner and all that, but I got this to plug in my guitar amp, pedalboard, synth, computer, and interface, and everything works like a charm.

It's practical, looks good, seems sturdy enough to handle anything, and simply put, it works. So for my home studio needs, it fits the bill in a stellar way, and I don't see the need to upgrade it for the foreseeable future. Even if I go the rack way (which is in my plans), the ears that come with it promise a snug fit that'll ensure it remains a mainstay of my setup.

Die Equip PowerBox habe ich in meinem 19" Live-Rig im Dauereinsatz und bin einfach nur begeistert. Sehr einfache Montage von hinten am Rack, genug Steckdosen und das ganze ist sehr stabil. Angeschlossen sind bei mir der Laney IRT Studio Röhren-Amp, ein DBX 166XS Compressor in 19", ein Lexicon MPX-550 Effektgerät in 19", das Palmer PWT 04 für meine Bodentreter, mein Yamaha MX49 Synthesizer und zwei Steckdosen habe ich noch frei. An eine freie kommt bei Live Gigs immer mein Backup Amp Vox MV50 AC.
Besonders gut finde ich den Überspannungsschutz für meine teuren Geräte, man weiß schliesslich nie bei einem Gig, wie sicher das Netz vor Ort ist, und so sind meine Geräte auf jeden Fall geschützt.
Die 3500W reichen jedenfalls locker für alle meine Geräte aus.
Der Schalter am Stromverteiler ist sehr praktisch und gut zu erreichen. Lediglich die Schutzkappe sitzt etwas locker drauf, aber darüber kann man hinwegsehen. Insgesamt kann ich den Stromverteiler absolut empfehlen.
