Didn't like the sound

In theory this pedal is the evolution of DOD 250, it doesn't sound like it to me tho. I found it very difficult to get a decent sound out of it; blurry bass and weird treble, felt really inconsistent to me. Very well built, easy to use, all the things you love in EQD are here, but I found the sound really disappointing.

aufmerksam wurde ich über ein Video vom Hersteller worin ich den Sound und die Zerrstruktur sehr interessant fand. Kein so weichgespülter Overdrive Sound wie es üblicherweise leider oft der Fall ist.

Es verträgt sich so gerade eben gut mit angezerrten Orange Amps (OR 50 und TH30 Dirt Channel)
Vor Cleanem Amp sind die Möglichkeiten nochmal umfangreicher.
Habe es am TH30 Clean Kanal ebenso ausprobiert. Als quasi Always ON Pedal vor Cleanem Amp klasse, sofern man den Sound mag.

Es liefert einen etwas unsaubereren Zerrsound, leicht bröckelig und das war, bzw ist genau das was ich an dem Pedal mag.

Der etwas eigene Tone Regler bei dem Pedal Weight genannt lässt es gut an die jeweiligen Bedingungen anpassen sowie an diverse Pick Up Typen, je nachdem ob diese etwas muffiger sind (z.B. Les Paul) oder einen eher bissigen Grundsound liefern.

Mild eingestellt läßt es sich auch gut mit anderen Zerrpedalen kombinieren z.B. Booster davor oder Mittenboost (in meinem Fall EHX LPB-1 oder Stone Deaf PDF)

Preislich fand ich das Pedal schon etwas deftig und hab mich schwer getan hier zuzugreifen, habe es letztendlich aber nicht bereut :-)
Und man kauft hier auch echt gute Qualität was die Verarbeitung angeht.
