Flamma FC18 Clean Boost

Na první poslech velmi kvalitní výrobek, z obyčejného zvuku udělá krystalicky čistý, hutný a živý tón. Oceňuji možnost zesílení příchozího zvuku na gainu (zde pozor, stačí opravdu jen jemně posílit úroveň vstupního signálu) a zbytek už si doupravíš na výstupním knobu.
A opravdu kvalitní korekce výšek a hloubek na výstupním signálu už jsou jenom další "třešničkou na dortu". K tomu kvalitní kovové provedení, krásný design. Ovladače High/Low a Volume jsou sice poněkud miniaturní, ale dá se to. Další bonusem je i to, že při zkoušce zlepšení zvuku z mobilu a tabletu funguje Flamma bez problému i při použitých stereo konektoech. Jsem opravdu příjemně překvapen a oceňuji, že jsem si na stránkách firmy Thomann mohl vše důkladně prostudovat. Hodně mi pomohly ty dřívější zveřejněné recenze. Takže doporučuji.
Též musím poděkovat dopravci UPS. Zboží mi bylo doručeno opravdu
brzy.

Summary: Great value transparent boost, small footprint and lots of flexibility, but not much clean volume boost

Pros:
- Great value for the price
- Small footprint on your board
- Tone options help you find your boosted tone, whether pre or post
- Leaving the tone controls at 12 o'clock, this is a good transparent boost and does not colour your tone very much at all
- Good range of gain to add grit/sparkle/drive

Cons:
- Unity volume is about 3pm on the volume knob; there is really not much extra volume available in this pedal, especially if you're keeping the gain low or zero. The info says "up to +20db", it doesn't specify +20db of clean, and I am not convinced there is even half that of clean boost in this pedal. If you are looking for a strong clean volume boost, e.g. as a pre-boost for your preamp, this is probably not the pedal for you.
- Unclear why it's labelled a clean boost when it has a really crucial gain knob? (the biggest knob!) Maybe I am missing something, but to me a "clean" boost is volume without gain.
- Assembly/construction looks okay but I wouldn't rely on it taking a lot of punishment over time.

Other comments
- The 2x tone controls are useful, especially the treble to help avoid tone getting muddy, however there is no mid control and some people might be specifically looking for this in a boost. I guess in theory you could drop the treble and bass, and then increase the volume, and that would increase the mid - but as mentioned above, there is very little extra volume available in this pedal.
- The tone and volume controls are small and quite fiddly - this is the pretty standard for most/all pedals this size with multiple controls.

Ik heb de pedaal gekocht om akoestische gitaar te boosten bij solo's, dus voor een clean boost. Werkt perfect daarvoor: geen hum of hiss en doet wat hij moet doen. Ik heb de Flamma pedaal vluchtig vergeleken met de TC Electronic Spark, die ik ook heb, en heb zo goed als geen verschillen gemerkt. Omdat ik hem enkel gebruik voor clean boost, heb ik de gain-knop nog maar weinig getest, maar uit de testen die ik heb gedaan blijkt dat de pedaal ook perfect zou kunnen worden gebruikt om een buizenversterker te boosten. Dus, volgens mij, aan te bevelen pedaal !

Die Drehregler lassen sich sauber Bewegen und sind auch für eine feinere
Abmischung des Sounds echt zu Gebrauchen!!!
Ich hatte mir den Flamma FC18 für meinen "Passiven" E-Bass gekauft um
Dem etwas mehr "Bums" zu geben - den Er jetzt auch absolut hat!!!
Dann habe ich den Flamma mal an meinen "Aktiven" Ibanez SR300E-SVM
angeschlossen und was da heraus kam würde ich mal mit der Bezeichnung "absolut brachial" umschreiben!!!
Das ist absolut unglaublich was dieser kleine Flamma FC18 da bringt!!!
Auch mit meinen E-Gitarren habe ich den Flamma mal Getestet und auch
Da war ich nur noch am Staunen was da für ein Sound aus dem Verstärker heraus kam mit einem Teil für schlappe 29,90€!!!
Satte Bässe und Glas klare Höhen, für Leute die gerne mal ein Gitarrensolo zu Besten geben kann ich nur Sagen bestellt euch dieses Teil das Geld ist auf keinen Fall rausgeschmissen!!!
Wer aus welchen Gründen auch immer über Kopfhörer spielt sollte mit
dem Gain Regler vorsichtig umgehen, sollten die anderen Regler voll
aufgedreht sein, sonst kann es schnell Passieren das einem die Ohren
wegfliegen denn da kommt schon so ab 1/4 Aufgedreht mächtig was raus!!!
Die Verarbeitung des Flamma FC18 geht absolut in Ordnung und ich habe
jetzt auch Nichts gefunden worüber ich mich Beklagen könnte!!!
Ganz im Gegenteil, weil es mir auf die Nerven ging den Flamma von der
Reihe der Effektgeräte vom E-Bass als umzustecken wenn ich mit meiner
E-Gitarre und deren Effektgeräte spielen wollte habe ich mich kurzer Hand gleich dazu entschieden mir halt einfach einen 2. Flamma zu
Bestellen denn 29,90€ sind nun wirklich nicht die Welt und man bekommt
ein Gerät mit dem man auch noch wirklich Spaß haben kann!!!
Wie man wohl Merkt kann ich den kleinen Flamma FC18 echt nur in den
höchsten Tönen loben und logischer Weise auch nur eine absolute
Kaufenpfehlung für dieses Gerät aussprechen!!!
Da sind 29,90€ sehr gut angelegtes Geld und wieder mal eine Bestätigung
dafür das Thomann auch im Bereich der "günstigen" Geräte Qualität
liefert die mit teureren Geräten durch aus mithalten kann!!!
