Great sound and very affordable
I bought this set for recording educational videos where I would be using both of my hands to manage my notes.
It took a few minutes to figure out how to put it on, but once I tried it on, it felt right. The only negative about this set is that it gives a fragile impression.
Also, the windscreen that was included should have been a bit bigger (for an easier fit) and thicker (for better wind noise prevention).
For first time users adjusting the location of the microphone relative to the mouth takes some time, but it is absolutely worth it. Once you find the sweet spot where the sound is not too boomy and you can hardly hear your breathing, the sound is crisp and I could hardly hear any background noise.
A big plus is the mini-XLR to XLR-converter that was included.
Pro: mini-XLR to XLR included, crisp sound, price

Entry level
I was planning on getting a more expensive headset but since it would be my first time using a headset while playing I decided to test a cheaper version first to see if it was anything for me. I can still recommend testing a cheaper headset first but this one is really not the best of the headsets out there.
The cable is long enough so that is fine.
The headset is quite easy to put on upside down, and then backwards before you get it right. It's the shape of it I guess.
Comfort wise it is rather poor, it hurts after an hour or so. If you wear glasses it hurts after like 15min.
The major drawback is the sound, it is slightly distorted but at the same time flat.
However, if you want to see if using a headset is something for you or if you are just going to use it in a garage jammin with your friends it is money well spend.

It does what it's supposed to
... Yes, it's an old school design, but it works well for the price... using in my home studio & to speak in my videos... it comes with an adapter to connect directly to a mixer or an XLR cable...

Don't hesitate to buy one for basic vocal work.
This is IDEAL for backing vocals, live vocoder work, etc. The sound quality is good, and requires phantom power.
The headband is adjustable and is comfortable to wear for an extended period.

Good surprise
I bought one to use with pluged in my keyboard PA 3x while save money for buying a sure(example) late. So i don't need anymore. It was my surprise. Enough quality to to do my job very well. Sound clear and efficient. Good surprise i told actually.

the micis too muddy, too much bass, not enough clarity in the sound, not comftable on the head, but the handle is very flexible and it can be placed wherever you want.

Great for Drummers
I bought these for doing backing vocals whilst playing drums as I was fed up using a regular mic (SM58) on a boom mic stand. No more craning my neck and no more trying to set up a mic stand in a confined space. This mic is very lightweight but not flimsy. The cable length is decent too. I fits on my head very well. It takes a while to adjust the mic so that it sits at a nice distance from the mouth. Its a condenser too so it needs phantom power. Of course condensers pick up more around them than dynamics so it also picks up a lot of the kit which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your pa set up. it is not the best mic in the world but then again it has served me well whilst playing pubs and club. My daughters also love using it in the house whilst doing their Britney Spears impersonations.

I was hesitating between one and two stars: they are uncomfortable, they fall apart, the sound is less than ideal... but maybe it's unfair to ask more of this product, considering the price. I bought them to try and see if a headset microphone was really for me. Unfortunately, the result was not conclusive. You can always give it a try; maybe you're luckier than me.

Good starting microphone
Good microphone, really useful to avoid spending for a wireless one, especially if used by keyboard players or drummers! A little bit of distortion is present if the singer gets really loud, but it's totally manageable and if it's a backup singer it's barely noticeable. It requires phantom power to operate, but now it's avaiable on almost any mixing board, so it shouldn't be a problem.
